Trent Division Poster Prizes
The Trent Division hold a joint poster competition with the West Midlands Division at the Midlands Winter Conference.
Prizes are allocated to the best poster presentation in one of the following topics:
- Quality Improvement
- Audit
- Research
The entry categories are:
- Student Associate and Foundation Doctor
- Resident Doctor in Core Training
- Resident Doctor in Higher Training and SAS Doctor
Competition details
To enter this competition, you must be based in the Trent Division which covers the following regions:
- Leicestershire
- Lincolnshire
- Derbyshire
- Nottinghamshire
- South Yorkshire
- South Humber.
Please note: if you are based outside this area your entry will not be accepted.
You must enter your correct and current grade and the work must be completed whilst studying or working in the Trent Division.
The research should be original and entrants should have made a major contribution to it.
Any entries submitted after the deadline will not be accepted.

Each entry must include an electronic copy of their poster and abstract of approximately 500 words.
Once you are sure all information is correct, please email your entry to division.events@rcpsych.ac.uk.
Our staff team will confirm receipt of your entry and provide you with further information.

FY: Dr N?r-al-ayn Nisar - Evaluation of Risk of Violence in Admissions to an Acute Psychiatric Ward in Birmingham
Core Trainee: Dr Jasleen Deol - Electric Currents of Change: Redefining Perspectives on ECT – Introduction of simulation-based teaching within undergraduate medical curricula
The winner will also have chance to present their poster at the winter conference.
There will be ?100 prize money awarded to the winner as well as a certificate of merit. You will be contacted after the event with information on payment of the prize fund.
