We are delighted to welcome the following speakers with give presentations in this webinar:
Professor Femi Oyebode: Psychopathology of Obsessions and Compulsions
Professor Femi Oyebode was born in Lagos Nigeria and studied medicine at the University of Ibadan, graduating with distinction in 1977. He trained as a psychiatrist in Newcastle-upon-Tyne and has been Professor in Birmingham since 1999. He was Chief Examiner RCPsych 2002-2005. He is the author of Sims’ Symptoms in the Mind which has been translated into several languages. He was co-presenter of BBC radio 4 series Is Psychiatry Working?
Professor Oyebode will be describing the definition, psychopathology, and evolutionary biology of obsessions and compulsions.
